A Chattanooga man who pleaded guilty to facilitating first-degree murder in the 2014 Lookout Valley triple homicide is now charged with domestic assault just five months after being released from prison early for good behavior.
Skyler Allen, now 33, was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2018. He had already been behind bars for four years as the case unfolded.
His attorney told us that Allen did not implicate himself when pleading, but provided "significant assistance" in Derek Morse's fatal shooting of Jon Morris, John Lang and Caleb Boozer. Morse was given three life sentences.
Allen had his sentence shortened after earning behavioral credits from the Tennessee Department of Corrections, according to Hamilton County District Attorney's Office Executive Assistant P. Andrew Coyle.
