PELHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The Pelham Police Department is welcoming a new duo to their squad!
Police announced on Wednesday, Nov. 5 that K-9 Myra and her handler Officer Harnden were joining the force after an intensive six week training program.
According to Pelham Police, Harnden and Myra graduated from Kassenburg K9 school.
Myra is a certified Narcotics Detection K-9 and is trained to assist in patrol operations, searches and helping keep Pelham’s community safe.
Myra joins Pelham’s three other K-9s according to the police department’s website . The other three are Ripley, Thunder and Major.
