SOUTH VALLEY, N.M. —
Two men were found dead with gunshot wounds Friday night in the South Valley, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 10:27 p.m. on Friday to reports of gunfire near the 1400 block of Entrada Bonita SW.
When deputies arrived, they found two adult men dead inside a home with gunshot wounds. Three other adults and two young children were also inside. The adults were detained for questioning, and the children were safely removed from the scene.
BCSO Homicide detectives took over the investigation. One suspect is currently in custody as detectives continue gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
The names of the victims and the suspect will be released once families are notified and the investigation allows.
