Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy won’t be available on Friday.

McAvoy, 27, is at home due to a personal matter and thus will miss a divisional matchup with the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena, per team announcement .

The Bruins will also be without forward Casey Mittelstadt, who is sidelined due to a lower-body injury sustained during a knee-on-knee collision in Thursday’s game against the Ottawa Senators , and forward John Beecher, who suffered an upper-body injury in the same game.
