All the way from Schaumburg, Illinois, the Skin Cancer Foundation and the Destination Healthy Skin program have traveled to 30 cities across the country to check for melanoma and other skin ailments.
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States and an estimated 3,700 cases of melanoma will be diagnosed in Arizona alone in 2025
The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends
When skin cancers are found and removed early, they are almost always curable. That is why The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends that everyone visit a dermatologist annually for a professional skin exam, in addition to practicing their own monthly head-to-toe self-exams, so that they can detect any new, changing or unusual lesions that could be cancerous or precancerous.
The 2025 program began on April
