Bolivia Breaks 20-Year-Run of Only One Ruling Party by Electing New President

Bolivia ushered in a new political era on Saturday, November 8, by electing conservative President Rodrigo Paz. Paz will have his work cut out for him since he is inheriting an economy in shambles after the Movement Toward Socialism party ruled Bolivia’s politics for 20 years.
