The global cost of cybercrime is projected to soar to $14 trillion within three years, a figure surpassing the GDP of most nations, according to Sachin Kakkar, Director of Engineering and Site Lead, Privacy, Safety & Security at Google.
Kakkar shared this assessment during a panel discussion on “Securing the Next Gen Cloud World” at CNBC-TV18’s Global Leadership Summit (GLS) in Mumbai on Friday, November 7. The panel also featured Sandip Patel, Managing Director, IBM India & South Asia, and Jay Kotak, Co-Head of Kotak811.
