A major indoor pickleball facility is coming to Union County as part of a national expansion by PickleRage , an indoor pickleball club franchise.

The new 40,000-square-foot club is planned for the under-construction New World Sports complex at 900 N. Avenue in Plainfield, according to a PickleRage statement .

A grand opening is planned later this year.

The Plainfield location will be PickleRage’s second planned New Jersey location, joining another facility in development in Middlesex County.

The club will provide year-round play, community programs, and events for pickleball enthusiasts of all skill levels.

The facility will feature 18 pro-level CushionX pickleball courts, a player’s lounge, pro shop, and streamlined booking technology.
