Bea Tinoco had her hands -- or legs -- in all six goals during third-seeded Middletown South’s 6-0 win against sixth-seeded Iselin Kennedy in the quarterfinals of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 state tournament in Middletown.
Tinoco scored goals and assisted on four others as the Eagles move on to play second-seeded Cranford in the sectional semifinals.
Riley Kapler, Hayley Jamison, Kate Verticchio and Kennedy Russell all netted goals as well in the contest. Middletown South (11-7) led 5-0 at halftime.
Delaney Finnegan and Kapler also both added assists in the win.
In goal, Julianna Fiore and Colleen Ferguson aided the shutout with a save apiece.
Iselin Kennedy dropped to 13-4-1 with the loss.
