PHOENIX — United Airlines is publicly posting a list of flights affected by the FAA reduction on its website. As of Saturday, the website shows which United flights have been canceled through Tuesday, Nov. 11.
On Saturday, a banner on the Sky Harbor Airport website said they are expecting delays due to "air traffic constraints" and asked all travelers to confirm their flight with their airline.
Hundreds of flights have been cancelled at 40 major U.S. airports as part of the Federal Aviation Administration's effort to phase in 10% reductions because of the government shutdown.
The FAA said the reductions would start at 4% and ramp up to 10% by Nov. 14. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy told Fox News the cuts could go up to 20% if the shutdown continues.
