Almost ten years ago, Stranger Things premiered, and everyone became obsessed with Eggo waffles, Dungeons and Dragons, and a group of nerdy preteens fighting the supernatural. Later this month for season five, those tweens will become teenagers, still fighting the good fight, right before our eyes — they’re technically adults in real life, but hey, they’re back in high school with a little bit of TV magic! The first few episodes of the final season will arrive just in time for Thanksgiving, and by the end of the year, we’ll be saying goodbye to Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Will, Lucas, and Max. So long, Hawkins! Fingers crossed you’ll have at least a small moment of peace.
