PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - After a 22-year-old man died last month after a shooting in the Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood, Portland police released the victim’s name on Saturday.

According to the Portland Police Bureau, Andrew “Andy” Nguyen of Portland was found suffering from a gunshot wound near Southeast 142nd Avenue and Southeast Division Street, just before 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 25.

Nguyen was given first aid and then rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died.

Any suspects left the area before officers arrived, and as of Saturday, police have not announced any arrests in connection with the shooting.
