A photo of Jayden Daniels’ grotesque-looking elbow from his time at LSU has resurfaced online following an injury initially feared to be season-ending.
The Washington Commanders quarterback sustained a brutal elbow dislocation against the Seattle Seahawks earlier this month, with the joint bending underneath him in an unnatural way after he was tackled while attempting to scramble.
It did appear that Daniels had played his last game of the 2025 NFL season, but it’s since been reported that the team will not place him on the injured reserve, as he didn’t suffer ligament damage and won’t require surgery.
“His dislocated left elbow is not as serious as originally anticipated. There was no ligament damage & he won’t need surgery,” Ian Rapoport reported on Friday.
