HAMMETT, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Idaho Transportation Department reported that westbound Interstate 84 is back open after a crash near Hammett.

The crash temporarily blocked all westbound lanes near the Hammett Hill Road exit as emergency vehicles are responding to the scene, according to Idaho’s 511 map .

ITD had to advise drivers to follow a detour off the exit onto Old U.S. 30 to get back onto the freeway from Old Oregon Trail Road.

The crash has since been cleared. KMVT has reached out to Idaho State Police for additional information about the crash.
