Hawley (32-2) jumped to a 7-1 lead in the fifth set with a pair of kills from Katie Vetter and Annaka Johnson. Vetter tallied a service ace and two kills, and a kill from Liebenow made it 14-5.

Chatfield charged back to make it with a three-point surge to trim the lead to six points, but Hawley was determined to win another title.
