The parents of two Australian teenagers who died following a mass methanol poison in Laos last year have made fresh claims about the investigations into the girls’ deaths ahead of the one-year anniversary of the tragic incident.
Holly Morton-Bowles and Bianca Jones, both aged 19, were rushed to Thai hospitals and placed on life support after consuming drinks laced with methanol in Vang Vieng on November 12 before becoming seriously unwell.
The two friends, who had been travelling around Southeast Asia, died just one day apart.
Their families have since issued a desperate plea nearly one year after the horror poisoning, with Ms Bowles’ parents claiming there is “no evidence” of a probe into the incident.
