ST. CLOUD — After a third-set victory, the Bemidji State volleyball team could feel a comeback brewing against St. Cloud State.

The Beavers forced a 24-24 tie in the fourth set, and had a crack at match point, up 25-24, but the Huskies picked up the next three points to win the set and the match 3-1.

BSU lost the first two sets 25-15 each before winning the third set 25-20, then dropped the fourth set 27-25.

Anna Paquette led the team in digs (17) and aces (three). Nevaeh Carlson got one more kill (10) than Grace Hoffard and Lily Riese, who both had nine.

Madison Tripp picked up a team-high 23 assists, while Katie Brandl picked up 18. Grace Hoffard and Karley Dunham led the team with four blocks apiece.
