TUMWATER — When you’re the Columbia River Rapids and the only Class 2A volleyball program to ever to win four consecutive state volleyball titles and now actively pursuing a fifth, high postseason expectations start at the district tournament.
“It’s an expectation to win districts,” senior setter Avery Seley said, “and we lived up to that expectation.”
Columbia River swept Tumwater on Saturday in a battle of league champions and a pair of top 5-ranked teams to capture its third straight district title.
