Seton Catholic scored two goals in the final eight minutes of regulation, then topped Montesano in a penalty-kick shootout 3-2 (5-3 PKs) to repeat as the 1A District IV girls soccer champions Saturday.
The Cougars trailed 2-0 at halftime, but got late second-half goals in the final eight minutes by Lilah Chase and Emma Whitehouse. Hailey Herboth and CJ Moore assisted the goals.
Sydney Riley posted three saves in goal. Coach Antonio Buckley praised the play of Whitehouse, Violet Heidt and Gigi Lougen.
