SPOKANE, Wash. - The No. 21 Gonzaga Bulldogs (2-0) throttled the Oklahoma Sooners (1-1), 83-68, behind excellent defense and rebounding.
Graham Ike headlined a strong frontcourt, scoring a team-high 19 points and 11 rebounds. Tyon Grant-Foster added 14 off the bench, plus another 13 from Jalen Warley.
Grant-Foster and Warley also contributed nine combined offensive rebounds, their defensive aggression and ferocity sparking a 30-12 run to end the first half.
Gonzaga decimated OU in turnover ratio (the Zags' seven to the Sooners' 16) as well as assists (22 to 5).
The Zags turn around back to the McCarthey Athletic Center to face the No. 23 Creighton Bluejays, the first ranked matchup of the season for both programs.
