Shetland actress Ashley Jensen has revealed her co-star gifted her a “faeces-covered box” for a good reason. ‌

Ashley took over from Douglas Henshall from the ninth season, with the tenth having recently begun airing. ‌

Reflecting on filming the latest series of the Bafta award-winning drama, the 56-year-old actress disclosed an unusual gift she received.

Speaking on Sunday Brunch, the star revealed her new hobby of felting, explaining: “I eventually sat still, after I’ve done a day’s filming, I’ve got in, I’m away from my family and I’ve got time to look at my lines.
