A tragic accident on a Moscow highway has resulted in the death of Russian millionaire Alexei Dolgikh, aged 36. Dolgikh was driving his £329,000 Lamborghini with three friends when the vehicle reportedly flipped over and caught fire after hitting a crash barrier.

The incident occurred at night on the International Highway, where Dolgikh was travelling at a speed of 93mph. According to the Moscow Prosecutor’s Office, preliminary investigations indicate that the driver lost control of the luxury car, leading to the catastrophic crash.

In a statement, the Prosecutor’s Office reported, “According to preliminary information, at night on International Highway, the driver of a Lamborghini hit an obstacle, after which the vehicle overturned and caught fire.”

The accident resulted in the deaths of two young men, while two others were taken to hospital with serious injuries. One victim suffered an open leg fracture, and the other sustained multiple fractures and was transported to Botkin Hospital for treatment.
