KENT COUNTY, Mich. — Crews from the Kent County Road Commission have been out since late last night, addressing slick spots on roads throughout the county.
The main areas that required addressing were bridge decks in the northern parts of the county, the road commission said.
They are encouraging drivers to use caution when out on the road, especially on bridges or in areas that are shaded, where freezing can occur. They are also warning of general slushy and slick conditions in areas throughout Kent County
More lake-effect snow is expected later Sunday and in to Monday, with the highest snow totals closer to the lakeshore.
The road commission said they will continue to have crews active on roads throughout the day, addressing any slick spots.
There were multiple crashes this morning
