DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver weather forecast sees a cool day Sunday with sunshine before the area returns to the upper 60s starting Monday.

Weather tonight: Sunny skies and chilly

After a cold start to the day, afternoon highs Sunday will be below normal – something the metro hasn’t seen a lot this autumn. Expect highs to be on either side of 50 degrees in northeast Colorado. Some locations on the plains may even stay in the 40s for highs.

Overnight low temperatures are going to be cold with overnight lows in the upper 20s nearing 30 degrees. Winds will be out of the southwest anywhere from 5-15 mph.
