DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver weather forecast sees a cool day Sunday with sunshine before the area returns to the upper 60s starting Monday.

After a cold start to the day, afternoon highs Sunday will be below normal – something the metro hasn’t seen a lot this autumn. Expect highs to be on either side of 50 degrees in northeast Colorado. Some locations on the plains may even stay in the 40s for highs.
