PITTSBURGH —

A man was taken to the hospital, and a woman was taken into custody after officials say a fight broke out between two couples inside a Pittsburgh apartment building Saturday night.

Pittsburgh Police said they were called to the 100 block of Rhine Place in the city's Spring Hill neighborhood around 11 p.m. following reports of a fight.

When they arrived on scene, they said a man was found with a stab wound and was taken to the hospital. He was last said to be in stable condition.

The preliminary investigation indicated that the injured man and a woman were arguing with another man in a common hallway inside their apartment building about the noise level.
