NEW CASTLE, Pa. —

An investigation is underway after two fires broke out inside the same home just days apart in New Castle.

Lawrence County dispatchers confirmed to Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that around 10:30 p.m. Friday, they were called to a home within the 900 block of Harrison Street for reports of a small fire. Advertisement

Dispatchers said the fire was quickly contained and put out.

Sunday morning, around midnight, however, dispatchers said officials were called to the same house following reports of another fire.

Officials said the second fire nearly made the home a complete loss.
