Cole Edelen returning for senior season, but basketball star won't be at Male

Cole Edelen is back in Louisville and plans to play his senior year for the Ballard High School boys basketball team .

Danny Edelen, Cole’s father, said his son will enroll at Ballard on Monday after leaving Combine Academy in Lincolnton, North Carolina.

“He felt like he wanted to come home to play around friends and family and loved ones,” Danny Edelen said. “He tried a new experience but ultimately … he realized it was time to come home. You only get one senior year.”
