BOLIVAR, Mo. — A Polk County man has been found guilty after the death of his wife in 2022.

According to a Polk County Sheriff's Office social media post, Lucky J. Johnson, 42, of Halfway, Missouri, has been found guilty of first-degree murder and armed criminal action in Polk County Circuit Court.

The verdict was given on Thursday, Nov. 6, after a thorough investigation and week-long jury trial, the post says.

The investigation began after Polk County deputies found Darrianna M. Johnson dead during the early morning hours on May 17, 2022. Officials found Darrianna with a single gunshot wound, and a shotgun was found resting on her body.
