WEBSTER COUNTY, Mo. — Two individuals have been seriously injured after being hit by a UTV on Saturday, November 8.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report, a Bloomington, Illinois, man and woman were injured around 8:35 p.m. on Route K, four miles south of Seymour, on Saturday.
The report does not indicate the ages of the two individuals.
MSHP states that the incident occurred as the two Illinois residents tried to upright a 2022 Polaris Pro XP being driven by a 32-year-old man from Clear Lake, Minnesota on private property.
The Minnesota man entered the vehicle to assist and the throttle on the UTV got stuck, and it took off, causing it to strike the Illinois individuals.
The woman was transported by ambulance, and the man was taken by helicopter to Cox Sout
