The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Macomb County as several inches of snowfall are in the forecast for today into Monday morning.
The advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. today through 4 a.m. Monday.
Meteorologists say snow accumulations of 2-4 inches are possible, with lake effect snow expected.

Motorists are advised to be aware of slippery road conditions, slow down and use caution while traveling.
If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
