PASCO, Wash. – The Pasco City Council is expected to discuss a resolution Monday, November 10 on a project to enhance safety at the Sandifur Parkway and Road 76 intersection.
The city plans to convert the current two-way stop-controlled intersection into a fully signalized one, featuring ADA-compliant ramps, marked crosswalks and flashing yellow arrows for left turns.
Additionally, new sidewalks and a pedestrian crossing with Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons will be installed at Road 76 and Savary Drive.
The project is funded by the Highway Safety Improvement Program and local sources, totaling more than $2.3 million.
