GLENDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- A thief played himself off as a browsing customer and walked out with thousands of dollars in goods at a Glendale store.

Now, the owner of Qualité Los Angeles is sharing the video of the crime with Eyewitness News.

It happened on Friday at the high-end clothing boutique in Glendale's quaint Kenneth Village. The owner says the suspect walked in, asked about sizes, and took off with thousands of dollars in merchandise.

Manager Anthony Montes says a man walked in around 7 p.m., inquiring about a Travis Scott shirt and then looking around at different shoes.

The owner says the suspect claimed he had a budget of $500. When the suspect asked for a size that wasn't on the store floor, that's when the owner was in for a surprise.
