Two of India's most wanted gangsters — Venkatesh Garg and Bhanu Rana — who were operating outside the country, have been arrested and will soon be deported to India.

Rana was detained in the United States, while Garg was apprehended in Georgia, in what's being seen as a massive win in the fight against foreign-based organised crime, NDTV reported.

Venkatesh Garg, a resident of Narayangarh, Haryana, was allegedly the subject of over ten criminal prosecutions in India. Following his alleged involvement in the murder of a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) politician in Gurugram, he was reported to have escaped to Georgia.
