New Delhi, Nov 10: In one of the largest explosives recoveries near the national capital, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday recovered 300 kilograms of RDX, an AK-47 rifle, and ammunition from Faridabad in Haryana. The massive seizure comes just days after the arrest of a Kashmiri doctor from Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur for allegedly promoting terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in Srinagar.
According to police sources, the Faridabad recovery was made following disclosures by Dr. Adil Ahmad Rather during interrogation. Investigators said the explosives and weapons were stored with another doctor, identified as Mujahil Shakeel, who is now under scrutiny.
