An historic former Nuneaton social club will become a new place of worship.. CoventryLive previously reported that a new future had been unveiled for what was Fife Street club.
The club, which served generations and even hosted comic Larry Grayson's stage debut, served the community for 91 years. Most recently it was Fife Street Retro and played home to the UK's largest pinball arcade but it closed its doors in 2023.
Last year the building went under the hammer and then a planning application emerged for it to become an Islamic place of worship with an ancillary Madrassa. It has now emerged that these plans have been given the go-ahead.
