An expert has analysed the "heartbreaking" mindset of a desperate man who tragically took his own life with a chainsaw.
David Phyall's living room was discovered drenched in blood, splattered across the floors, walls and furniture. The 50 year old had ended his life in a horrific manner after being evicted from his home.
He had lived in his 1960s property in a tranquil Hampshire village for eight years. The man, who had a history of mental health issues, declined offers of rehousing and was "irrationally opposed" to what he saw as the "injustice" of being forced out of his repossessed home.
