KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — As the area prepares for frigid temperatures moving into East Tennessee, several warming centers are set to open.
Storm Team 6 is forecasting that Monday is going to be the coldest day of the season so far, especially in higher elevations. Monday night is expected to be very cold with scattered snow showers and a low of 23 degrees. Tuesday morning should be sunny but remain chilly with a high of 44 degrees.
