Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy says he now deals with antisemitic attacks “every day,” condemning what he described a “definitive shift” in the national climate.
“I’ve seen in my own experience, just being Barstool, the difference between how much hate I get. I never got – I mean, occasionally you get ‘hey k–e’ or ‘Jew’ or whatever,” Portnoy told CBS anchor Tony Dokoupil in a preview of an interview airing Sunday .
“It’s every day now,” he added. “There’s a definitive shift in what’s going on.”
Portnoy explained that he feels a responsibility to speak out about the surge in hate comments.
