If you are planning to head into the city of Cambridge to do some Christmas shopping and need somewhere to park your car, two car parks in Cambridge will be offering cheap parking on weekends with all of the money going towards local charities. The Rotary Club of Cambridge South will be running its Charity Christmas Car Parks again after successfully raising over £38000 for local causes.
The two car parks can be found at Downing Site on Tennis Court Road and the University of Cambridge Department of Chemistry on Lensfield Road. Both sites are just a short walk away from the city centre and the Grand Arcade, making it useful for Christmas shopping.
Shoppers can use either of the car parks for a minimum donation of £8. The car parks will be open every weekend from Saturday, November 29
