A 20-year-old man has suffered serious injuries after a crash on a busy Cambridgeshire road. The man, who was riding a motorcycle at the time of the incident on Friday (November 7) is now being treated at Addenbrooke's.

The police are asking for any witnesses to come forward after the crash on the A1307 near the Avenue outside of Girton at around 5pm on Friday afternoon.

It had been reported that there was a collision involving a white Vauxhall Corsa and a grey Yamaha motorcycle. The driver of the Corsa, a 22-year-old woman from Whittlesford, was also taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital with minor injuries.
