At least 10 people were killed and 30 others injured after a high-intensity explosion ripped through a car near the Red Fort in Delhi on Monday evening. The blast, which occurred around 7 p.m. near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, sent shockwaves through one of the capital’s most visited areas.

According to Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha, the explosion took place in a slow-moving vehicle that had stopped at a traffic signal, with passengers inside. “Other vehicles were also affected. All agencies are taking stock of the situation,” he said.
