AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A student at the Richmond County Alternative School at Morgan Road was found with a knife on campus last week.

School officials say police were notified of a student who might have had a knife in their possession on Thursday.

Richmond County deputies search for suspect wanted for aggravated assault

Wilber Martinez-Duran, 29, is wanted in reference to an incident that occurred on the 1500 block of Twiggs Street on Nov. 9.

Officials say during an administrative search, the student was found with a black pocketknife.

The student was taken into police custody and charged with possession of a weapon on school grounds, according to the incident report.
