GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - More than 50 people attended a Veterans Day ceremony Monday morning to honor local veterans.

The ceremony featured several speakers, including Army veteran and Councilmember Ceretta Smith. The Grovetown High School marching band and local ROTC members served as the color guard.

“It’s always great. People come out, people of the community come out, a lot of veterans and veteran organizations come out, and so we look forward to it every year, and it’s a great turnout again this year,” Smith said.
