MUSKEGON, Mich. — We are continuing our 13 Weather Impact Alert as locally intense lake-effect snow impacts lakeshore communities today and tonight. This will lead to slick roads, reduced visibility and accumulating snow through early Tuesday.

The highest impacts are expected in Mason and Oceana counties, where a Winter Storm Warning remains in effect through 4 a.m. Tuesday. Snowfall totals between 6 and 9 inches are possible, leading to rapidly changing road conditions and greatly reduced visibility over short distances. Southern portions of Allegan Co. and parts of Van Buren Co. could also see isolated high amounts of 5 to 7 inches of snowfall. Inch per hour snowfall rates are possible in these spots.
