ROSCOE, Ill. — A local gymnastics gym is facing a hard to decision.
Gymnastic Academy North, located at 11447 2nd St. in Roscoe, is deciding whether or not to close for good after it was said they temporarily closed for a family emergency.
Kelsey Major of Roscoe, whose daughter goes to the gym each week, organized a GoFundMe to help the owners keep the gym open. Major said the gym closed for multiple reasons including the owners' health problems and financial issues.
" We have felt nothing but welcomed and like family since my daughter has started," said Major. "She gets so excited every week to see coach Max, Rhen and the other coaches. I watch each week as they make every kid feel so welcomed to be there!"
