FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Indiana State Police and other local police agencies “ramped up” patrols over the weekend after rumors of a potential drag race.
ISP says, with the help of the Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Sheriff’s Department, and New Haven Police Department, officers were able to prevent any street racing incidents successfully.
The department says the agencies wrote a combined 32 tickets and 59 warnings. It’s noted that several arrests were also made.
A release from ISP says a stolen vehicle was also recovered during the patrol.
