FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A 25-year-old Florida man is facing charges after Fort Wayne police found about 132 pounds of cocaine during a traffic stop.
Jordon Lanier is charged with dealing in cocaine, a felony that carries a potential prison sentence of up to 30 years. He appeared in court for the first time on the charge on Monday.
Uniformed Narcotics Division detectives pulled Lanier over for alleged speeding on Thursday, a spokesman for the Fort Wayne Police Department says. During the stop, a department K-9 did an open-air sniff and alerted to the presence of narcotics.
When police inspected his truck, they located a compartment, the spokesman says. After removing the access panel, police allegedly located 30 individually packaged kilos of cocaine, which has a street value of betwee
