SKIPPACK — A former Skippack Township supervisor must answer to charges in Montgomery County Court that he sexually assaulted an underage boy in the county.
Nicholas A. Fountain, 38, of the 900 block of Schwendt Lane, was held for trial, after a preliminary hearing on Monday before District Court Judge Adam T. Katzman, on multiple counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a minor, sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault of a minor and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with alleged incidents that occurred between 2016 and 2023 when the boy was between the ages of 9 and 16.
There was no testimony during the hearing. Fountain essentially stipulated that prosecutors could present sufficient probable cause to move the charges to county court.
