A massive blast rocked Delhi’s Red Fort area on Monday night, claiming the lives of eight people and injuring 20 others, hours after authorities recovered nearly 3,000 kg of explosives from residential buildings in Faridabad, Haryana. The explosion occurred at 6.52 pm when a Hyundai i20 car, registered in Haryana, stopped near Gate 1 of the Lal Qila metro statio n. The blast’s force damaged nearby vehicles, with eyewitnesses describing horrific scenes, including bodies on the road.
