DENVER (KDVR) -- Two people were arrested after law enforcement said a deputy's window was shattered near the scene of a deadly house fire, leading to a pursuit that ended in a crash on Interstate 25 Monday morning.
A spokesperson for the Adams County sheriff's Office told FOX31 that a deputy was in his personal vehicle at the scene in the 800 block of Bronco Road, providing security for the scene of a deadly house fire that happened Sunday.
Around 5:39 a.m., the sheriff's office said that the deputy saw a car across the street and his passenger window shattered.
He radioed dispatch and other deputies responded to the area. Deputies found the suspect vehicle and a "short chase ensued" before the suspect driver "wrecked out" on I-25 near Highway 36.
